Young Player of the Tournament

Kylian Mbappe

 

Les Bleus wonder kid Kylian Mbappe grabbed the award after a phenomenal display in the tournament. The speedy winger finished with 4 goals including his wonder strike in the finals against Croatia.

Mbappe becomes the second youngest player after Pele to score in the finals at the age of 17.


Golden Ball Award

Luka Modric

Croatia skipper Luka Modric was awarded as the best player of the tournament despite losing the finals 4-2 to France at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.

The maestro was instrumental as Croatia played their first ever finals in the World Cup surpassing their 1998 semi finals heroics.


Silver Ball Award

Eden Hazard

Belgium Skipper Eden Hazard was awarded the second best player of the tournament for his superb performance for the Red Devils.

The want away Chelsea midfielder was highly influential for Belgium as they bagged their highest ever finish in the world cup with 3rd place position.


Golden Boot Award

Harry Kane

Harry Kane

England skipper Harry Kane won the Golden Boot award as he bagged 6 goals for England in the tournament.

The Tottenham Hotspur forward shrugged off competition from the best goal scoring machines in the competition to emerge as the highest goal scorer. he likes of Cheryshev, Griezmann, Lukaku, Mbappe, C.Ronaldo were all stuck on 4 goals each.


Golden Glove Award

Thibaut Courtois

Belgium shot stopper Thibaut Courtois won the Golden Glove award for his outstanding performance in front of goal for the Red Devils.


FIFA Fair Play Award

Despite a disappointing campaign in Russia 2018, the 2010 World champions were awarded the FIFA fair play award for being the most disciplined team in the tournament.
