Arsenal has finally completed the signing of Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon.
The striker was signed for a fee of £52.6 million thereby making him Arsenal’s record signing.
Arsene Wenger believes he is the goal machine the club needs to deliver trophies for them. Lacazette during an interview after signing said that he has always dreamed of joining Arsenal. He was the second highest goal scorer in French League 1 last season and has scored 129 goals in 275 matches for Lyon in all competitions.
Immediately after confirmation of Lacazette signing by Arsenal, Alexis Sanchez increased his wage demand to £400,000, as the quest for him to sign a new contract at Arsenal stalls.
