Both bids for French stars Alexandre Lacazette and Thomas Lemar of Lyon and Monaco respectively have been rejected.
Lyon’s reason for the rejection was because Arsenal didn’t meet the asking price of £50 million for the most consistent goal scorer in Europe and also because the club is yet to secure a replacement for him.
On the other hand, Thomas Lemar’s bid was rejected because Monaco was not willing to let go as they feel he still has a vital role to play in the squad as a youngster.
Arsene Wenger is left with no other option other than to restrategize.
