Besiktas Break Turkish Uefa Champions League Jinx

Besiktas broke history as they become the first Turkish side to qualify for the Uefa Champions League knockout stage.

Besiktas hosted Portuguese side Fc Porto in the Champions League return leg that ended in a 1-1 draw at the Vodafone Park in Istanbul.

Felipe opened the scoring for the away side in the 29th minute after a training ground taken free kick. Talisca leveled the game just at the stroke of half time with a simple tapping from close range to make it a stalemate.

Besiktas top the Group G with 11 points from 5 games, Porto are in 2nd place with 7 points. Porto will have to wait till their next match against Monaco to seal their fate.
