A five year deal has been struck by Lyon to bring the Chelsea striker Bertrand Traore to the club. In 39 appearances at Ajax last season, Traore scored 13 goals and this makes him to be the third loanee player to be sold by Chelsea.
Antonio Conte has been stressing on the need of adding high quality players to the squad and plans to use the money acquired from Traore’s sale to get Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko as the first major signing.
In January 2014, Traore joined Chelsea although he spent the first 18 months of his career on loan at Vitesse during which he netted 17 goals in 48 Eredivisie appearances.
