Chelsea approach this tie following a friendly lose against Arsenal at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. Manchester City on the other hand come into the game on the back of a (2-3) friendly win against Bayern Munich at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
This will be the first competitive game for Chelsea’s new manager Maurizio Sarri. Summer signing Jorginho could make his debut for the blues in this tie.
