Leicester Vs Burnley

Leicester beat high flying Burnley side by a lone goal from Winger Gray. Gray scored the only goal of the game in the 6th minute to give the Foxes a well deserved win. Gray came close to doubling his tally for the night as he hit the wood work in the second half. Burnley came close a grabbing a point at the final minutes of the games but Burnley striker Vokes effort was a whisker from the target. 1 nil it ended at the Kings Power Stadium.

Everton Vs Huddersfield

Everton fans gave new boss Sam Allardyce a warm welcome at Goodison Park as Everton entertained new boys Huddersfield. Big Sams job is to get Everton back to winning ways and ensure them safety in top flight football.

The first half eneded goalless, but new signing Sigurdsson opened the scoring 2 minutes into the second half with a fine finish after a string of fine passes. Young Enland striker Calvert-Lewin secured the win in the 73rd minute as he buried a one on one chance after Wayne Rooney’s perfect pass. Final Result: Everton 2 Huddersfield 0.

 

West Brom Vs Crystal Palace

West Brom Hosted Crystal Palace at The Hawthorns in a less entertaing encounter that ended goalless. Both teams were unable to find the backof the net and had to settle for a point.

 

Stoke Vs Swansea

Stoke City came from a goal down to earn all three points at the Bet365 Stadium. Wilfred Bony opened the scoring for Swansea just 3 minutes into the game to break a long term premier league goal drought.

Shaqiri pulled one back for the Potters with a fine finnish to kick start the comeback. Diouf showed control and composure from inside the box as he calmly receieves a headed assists and smashed the ball into the top corner of the net in the 40th minute to give Stoke City a well deserved win. 2-1 it ended in favor of the homeside.

Watford Vs Tottenham

Watford played out a 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hostspur at Vicarage Road. Kabasele opened the scoring for the home side in the 13th minute from a Tom Cleverly corner kick. South Korean play maker Son pulled a leveler in the 25th minute to give the away side a glimpse of a possible comeback.

Tottenham defender Sanchez was shown a straight red card by Martin Atkinson due to his behavior. That’s all for today as the game ends in a stalemate as Tottenham continue to drop points and drops to 6th place on the table.
