Olivier Giroud came of the bench to score a late equalizer as Arsenal fought hard to draw 1-1 against Southampton at St Mary.
The Saints took the lead 3 minutes into the first-half after Per Mertesacker loose pass gifted the host possession as Charlie Adam’s scored his fourth goal in four games.
Southampton were punished for their missed chances in the second-half when Giroud header home a cross from Alexis Sanchez to rescue a point for the Gunners.
Arsenal remain at 5th, while Southampton move to 10th.
