Ederson have revealed that Sadio Mane had said sorry for the challenge that left the him needing stitches to his face.
The Liverpool forward was sent off for a high foot challenge on Ederson, accidentally planting his studs into the keepers face, when Liverpool were beaten 5-0 at the Etihad two weeks ago.
Mame posted the folloiwng message on Facebook
“We don’t know each other, but I would love to have his number and send him a proper message. I think it is OK now, though”
“Honestly, after this incident, I was not OK. I was thinking about the red card, obviously, but we are human beings and we have to be nice to each other.”
The Brazilian stopper after City’s 5-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Saturday said “He sent me a message. I told him not to worry.”
