Mikel scores as Nigeria trash Cameroon 4-0


The indomitable lions were dealt a serious lesson at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo as the Nigerian Super Eagles tops Group B of the African World Cup Qualifying.

Victor Moses found the back of the net 10 minutes into the second-half after a beautiful 1-2 link-up with Simon Moses.

Substitute Kelechi Iheanacho who came in for Ighalo headed home a superb cross from Victor Moses to make it 4-0, as Nigeria secures all three points.

Ghana’s chances of qualifying for the Russia 2018 World Cup has been dealt a serious blow after they were only able to get a point against Congo at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi.

Ghanaian and Atletico Madrid Midfielder Thomas scored a late minute goal to conceal out Thievy Bifouma first half goal for the visitors.
