The quarter final round of the 2018 World Cup kicks-off as Uruguay takes on 1998 World Cup champions France at Nizhny Novgorod Stadium on Friday.

Players to Watch

Uruguay will probably be without Edinson Cavani after he sustained an injury in their game against Portugal. Luis Suarez will have to make up for the absence of his strike partner.

In defense the partnership of Diego Godin and Jose Gimennez has seen the South Americans concede only one goal in four games.

Antoine Griezmann will lead the French attack alongside Kylian Mbappe, while the combination of Paul Pogba and Ngolo Kante will break-up play and create chances.

Defensively France need to buckle up after conceding three goals in their game against Argentina.
