The Former England International Skipper have been arrested by Cheshire Police for suspicion of drunk driving.
Earlier that day he was seen taken a selfie with cricketer Jack McIver in the Bubble Room bar in Alderley Edge .
The cricketer around 10PM shard the photo on Instagram as “International Break #legend”
Wayne Rooney’s representatives were unavailable to comment on the situation and Cheshire Police refused to comment either.
