Wayne Rooney scored his first hat-trick since his return to Everton as they beat Huddersfield 4-0. Rooney opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a reaction header after he missed a penalty kick. Rooney scored in the 28th and 66th minute to complete his hat-trick for the night. Ashley Williams completed the scoring to give Everton a boost after a poor run of result.
